Accessibility statement

This accessibility statement was last updated on 6 November 2026.

Our commitment

At Kaede Digital we want everyone to be able to browse our website, read our content, chat with Kaede and reach us easily, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as part of our service, not as an extra.

Conformance level

Our website is designed and built with the aim of meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, published by the W3C. These guidelines are the basis of the European standard EN 301 549, used under the European Accessibility Act, and of the Israeli Standard IS 5568. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we review the site as we add new pages and features.

What we have done

  • Full keyboard navigation, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
  • A logical heading structure and clear labels on every form field.
  • Text alternatives for images and illustrations, including the manga artwork and the Kaede character.
  • Strong contrast between text and background, thanks to a black and white design.
  • Text that can be enlarged in the browser without content being cut off or breaking.
  • A "Pause animations" button on every page, next to the accessibility and cookie buttons, that stops every animation and video on the site in one click. The site also respects the reduced motion setting on your device and the pause option in the accessibility menu.
  • The correct language and reading direction on every page: Hebrew right to left, English left to right.
  • The Kaede chat, the WhatsApp bot demo and the follow the sun dial are built to work with screen readers.
  • Layouts that adapt to desktop, tablet and mobile screens.

Compatibility

The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge) and with common assistive technologies such as NVDA and VoiceOver.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible, for example:

  • Third party components, such as the WhatsApp button, videos or embedded social media content, which are not fully under our control.
  • Screenshots in our portfolio that show client websites as they are.
  • Older documents or downloadable files.

We keep testing and improving. If you run into a barrier, we would really like to hear about it.

Accessible service

You can reach us through several channels: WhatsApp, phone, email and the contact form on this site. If one channel works better for you, or you need an adjustment in a call or meeting (for example written communication instead of a phone call, or extra time), just let us know and we will arrange it. If you would like to meet in person and need an accessibility adjustment, tell us in advance and we will agree on a place and format that works for you.
